Some pCloud users running iOS 8 have reported a problem with automatic upload for images and video. When syncing, they get an error message on their action bar that says “Failed task.” After looking into the problem, our developers have found that the error message is caused by a change in iOS 8’s date and time formats.

If you’re using pCloud on your iPhone and you are experiencing this issue, rest assured that we’re doing our best to release an update to fix it as soon as possible. Until then, you can change your phone’s setting to continue using pCloud at its fullest.

Here’s what you have to do:

Step 1. Go to your iPhone’s settings
Step 2. Choose “General” and then go to “Date & time”
Step 3. Enable 24 hour time formats
