How to Invite Family Members to Join Your Family Plan?
Inviting family members to join your Family plan is simple. The account owner, can invite or remove members from your Family Plan page anytime. All you need to do is:
- Go to pass.pcloud and select your accounts menu (located on the top navigation bar)
- Select Set Up Family Plan
- Click the Invite button and enter their email address or copy the invitation link and send it to the people you want to add.
- Invited members get a link to join, where they need to log in to (or sign up for) their own account.
How to Join an Existing Family Plan?
If you’ve already been invited to join an existing pCloud Pass Family plan, all you need to do is locate the email invitation or link provided by the Family plan owner, click the JOIN NOW button, agree to the pCloud Pass terms, and continue.
What’s the Difference between the Family Plan Owner and the Family Member?
The Family plan owner has the right to add or remove family members from your plan. A family member is a person who has joined an already existing Family plan. Family members get to take advantage of all the Premium features pCloud Pass has to offer.
What Happens After a Family Member is Removed?
The owner can remove family members from the plan. When a family member is removed, their pCloud Pass account will be downgraded to pCloud Pass Free, and they will lose access to all extra Premium benefits. However, they will still keep their pCloud Pass account and the items that are already stored inside.
Do Other Family Members Have Access to My Items?
No one can access your own space. In a Family plan, you have your own pCloud Pass account where you can save all of your secured items. You will have Share options which means that you’ll be able to choose what to share and keep the rest private.
